Bio
The importance of education has been a reoccurring theme throughout my life and has guided me to my current career path. As a student involved in multiple sports and extra-curricular activities I found myself more often at Kinston High School than at home; this trend continued at Troy University where I devoted myself not only to academics, but also to various Greek and university organizations. Due to these experiences I have developed a love of learning and a belief in the life-altering power of education.
After spending time as a teacher and instructional coach at two previous schools, I am excited to return "home" to serve my alma mater as assistant principal. It is my honor to work at a school whose dedication to the success of its students is a common goal shared among both the school staff and the community. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading (preferably on the beach), and supporting the Kinston Bulldogs. Go Dawgs!
