Lougener Wyrosdick Staff Photo

I attended Kinston High School and received an Advanced Diploma.  After high school graduation, I attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL, where I earned a BA in Secondary Education-Social Sciences.  While working in Montgomery, I attended TSUM and earned a Master's Degree in Agency and Community Counseling.  I also received my certification in School Counseling.

I started my teaching career at New Brockton High School.  While at New Brockton, I was a 7-12 history/social science teacher and later the high school counselor.  My duties also included coaching volleyball, basketball, and softball. In 2011, I transferred to Kinston to be the elementary counselor.

I am married Jamie Wyrosdick (who also graduated from Kinston) and we have 2 children, Blair and William. I enjoy camping, traveling, and fishing with my family.
