KCLC began operating on October 1, 2013 through a federal 21st Century Learning grant. The program serves up to 50 students in grades K - 8 after the regular school day ends. Hours of operation are 3:00pm to 5:30pm each day that school is in session. 

A nutritious snack is provided each afternoon for each student.

KCLC employs certified teachers that work with the students enrolled to mentor and tutor them in their academic subjects from the regular school day. Also,various enrichment activities are implemented in order for each student to have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of science,technology, engineering and  mathematics as well as other areas of interest on a variety of subject matter. Student aides from the high school are employed to help provide assistance to the students that are enrolled . Volunteers contribute to the program by sharing their talents and knowledge on a variety of subjects.

 Current TUITION: 

Students eating regular paid lunch -$60.00 monthly 

Students eating free or reduced lunch - $50.00 monthly 

Each additional child is $20.00 per child

Beginning October 1,2016 : TUITION will be as follows -

Regular paid Lunch -$70.00 - for first student

Free/Reduced Lunch - $60.00 - for first student

Each additional child $20.00
